Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a Manufacturing Engineer III position.
The position description is as follows:
Currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III for systems design, process improvement, and process quality of manufacturing operations. You will establish and maintain continuous improvement programs for both quality and productivity.
Duties:
Design and implement layouts for Just-in-time focused and feeder factories.
Introduce and facilitate Just-in-time manufacturing principles.
Improve the existing line performance by introducing jigs and fixtures, line balancing, and time & motion studies.
Improve the process control and process quality by introducing standard operating routines (SOR), worker cross training, etc.
Coordinate between Engineering and Manufacturing Departments regarding the manufacturability of newly-designed parts, components and product lines.
Develop and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
Five years previous experience in gaming preferred
Experience in manufacturing system design and Manufacturing floor layout.
Must be able to read drawings and effectively communicate on a technical level with Engineering
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Working knowledge of Just-in-time principles; Kanban, TQC, Preventive Maintenance and Setup reductions required.
Ability to design and develop suitable jigs and fixtures.
Computer literacy in Solidworks, Autocad, PC, Microsoft Office Applications and working of knowledge of manufacturing ergonomics.
BSME or equivalent bachelor's degree preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required
