Responsibilities:
• Leading the day-to-day management of the programming team.
• Supervises department staff and carries out performance appraisals
• Serving as an interface between the programmers and management
• Sets performance goals with staff, monitors progress throughout the year and evaluates achievement
• Working closely with team members in evaluating systems and making recommendations on future software development
• Acting as a mentor to the programming team members
• Managing, scheduling and tracking team vacations
• Managing and resolving team conflicts
Qualifications:
• Completion of Post-secondary education
• 3-5 years web programming - .NET development, C#, javascript, perl & SQL development
• Previous supervisory experience
