Position: Siebel Administrator (Immediate Interview)
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Technical Skills:
§ Siebel Core Consultant certification (7 or greater)
§ At least 2 years experience with Siebel 7.x environment required
§ Experience required in:
o Installing, Uninstalling and Managing Siebel Servers (Web,Application, Gateway, Siebel Database Servers, Actuate and Remote Servers)
o Siebel 7.x items such as workflow, assignment manager, tools,scripting, business services, EAI, and EIM
o Set up and Configuration of Security Adaptors like LDAP and ADSI for authenticating Siebel Users
o Managing Siebel repositories and carrying our repository migrations
o Working with the DBA to setup and configure the database (Oracle, DB2 etc) for Siebel Installation and trouble free running of the application
o Maintaining pick lists & List of Values, Managing positions, responsibilities, views, application object managers and various other server components
o Monitoring Server Processes and performance, restoring servers and database (with help of DBA) from backups
o Writing and interpreting SQL queries, especially DDL statements and SQL's required for administering the system
o Interpreting Indexes, effect of indexes on the performance of the system and performance tuning
o High Availability, Clustering of Servers
o Application deployment planning and execution
§ Understand concepts of Siebel EAI and Siebel data interface
§ Understand hardware architectures (e.g., servers, memory, I/O subsystems, tape backups, storage devices, etc.)
Hardware: HP, SUN, PCs, Compatibles
Operating Systems: UNIX, HP/UX, SUN Solaris, Windows Server, MS-DOS Computer Languages: SQL Plus, PL-SQL, C, VBScript, E-Script
RDBMS: Oracle 9i, 10g
Development Tools: Siebel Tools, TOAD,
Applications: Microsoft office XP, Siebel 7.x, Siebel 8.0, Informatica, Actuate, MS Visio, MS Project Plan QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Experience at least 5 years
Licenses or Certificates Siebel Core Consultant

_15_% Performance tuning
Must have excellent communication skills.
Location:Whiteplains,NY
Duration: 6 Months contract to Hire/Fulltime
Client is willing to sponsor H1B candidates after 6 months of contract..
