The primary responsibility of an Enterprise Architect (EA) is to support the advancement of innovation and increased “wallet share” at our major customers with an emphasis on accelerating the adoption of High Value Services and solutions with their assigned accounts.
The EA will lead solutioning for identified opportunities within their assigned accounts; source appropriate specialist solutioning resources as needed to ensure an optimum solution is put forward to the client; drive value creation through best practice identification and replication amongst accounts; create materials to support periodic customer meetings; and facilitate appropriate collaboration between accounts and other Siemens entities by driving innovation and account transformation through a standard approach. The Enterprise Architect will participate and actively contribute to periodic innovation and architecture councils for the purpose of 1) learning about standard offerings which can be brought into the accounts they serve, 2) sharing and assisting with the transfer of best practices from the accounts they serve to other accounts in the company, 3) communicating customer and account needs and solution requirments for the purpose of prioritizing programs on the innovation roadmaps 4) working collaboratively in the design and pursuit of service innovations. In addition, the EA will be responsible for maintaining and executing an innovation plan within their accounts with the input of the account team and the customer. This person will lead innovation workshops within their accounts and others as needed to identify innovation opportunities and the projects needed to meet these opportunities.
Additionally the Enterprise Architect will:

• Build strong “trusted advisor” relationships with the technology leadership executives within their assigned accounts.
• Nurture and shape potential opportunities and innovation projects within their accounts.
• Act as Solution Director for identified opportunities within their assigned accounts, including the sourcing and directing of the appropriate Solution Architect (GO or Pro) resources to propose the optimal solution and pricing to the clients.
• Lead the pursuit of these opportunities with the Sales and Delivery teams while continuing to follow the Quality Gate process as appropriate.
• Drive periodic innovation and architecture councils with the clients.
• Maintain and execute against their clients' Innovation Plan Roadmap.
• Facilitate account transformation activities based upon an account-specific Target Operating Model and Transformation Roadmap.
• Build or extend executive relationships based on credibility and trust. These relationships will be targeted at specific IT and business stakeholders.
• Participate in broader Innovation community at a company level, including prioritizing the needs of portfolio investment decisions, exchanging best practices, supporting the development of service roadmaps .
• Prepares timely, relevant, reusable materials for use in customer briefings (mthly/quarterly) -- presents as required
• Enrolls appropriate groups (CTO, R&D, Innovation, Siemens One, global counterparts) to participate in customer briefings/meetings
• Use innovation as a constant theme for introducing new initiatives to Siemens clients, focusing efforts on innovation that will map to customer value alignment -- develop specific innovation plans across the infrastructure, application and process environments

• Active working relationship with the technical IT management within the account collaborating on solution design and implemention



Qualified candidates must have the following: Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in business; Advanced studies in business (MBA) or project/program management desirable; 10+ years of expert knowledge of complex outsourcing engagements, including contract and financial management; strong technical knowledge allowing the individual to operate as a credible advisor to the technology management of the customer; solid experience with program planning -- expansion, service level management, recovery plans; strong product management experience -- ability to define strategies, coordinate related resouces to develop implementation plans and bring to market; previous success managing and working in a highly matrixed organization; balance of direct customer experience and central delivery desired; Demonstrated experience working with clients in balancing technical and business requirements.

Additionally, must have:

• Executive-level presentation creation and delivery skills -- proven, demonstrable interaction with CxO level
• Able to mentor and supplement skills of others, 'raising the game' of a group of peers
• Customer management and advocacy; ability to work on behalf of customer portfolio while still representing Siemens' best interests
• Ability to translate customer requirements (both direct and industry-wide) into company strategies leading to increase market and wallet share
• Ability to effectively leverage resources across the organization to contribute to customer specific solutions
• Strong balance of technical & business skills
• Required to stay in front of market trends and vertical solutions for target customers
• Provide input to the development and vision and specify key application and business performance indicators
• Define critical success factors that must be in place to fulfill the project mission
• Uunderstand, and support the business strategy that is to be supported by the solution
• Provide key input to the business vision by understanding the requirements and what technology enablers can be used to support this vision
• Guide, and manage (when required) the solution development process and supporting team to ensure the development of a solution that meets customer and internal objectives
• Provide insight on existing and emerging technology capabilities to identify opportunities to aid in the transformation of customer and/or internal environments.
• Manages all resources that span the necessary towers of a given solution
• Responsible for the scope, delivery, quality and acceptance of the end-to-end technology vision
• Lead project estimating tasks and review estimates of others during the solutioning of customer and/or internal solutioning efforts
• Act as the lead participant in the overall technology planning effort
• Identify risk associated with proposed technology solutions and aid the solutioning team in developing a risk mitigation strategy if applicable
• Participate actively in the project delivery assurance reviews.
