Job/DTC - Software Configuration Manager

The People Source has an immediate opening for one Software Configuration Manager in the DTC area. Candidate will join an ongoing project that entails an enterprise-wide rewrite of our clients existing Legacy web-based application. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the analysis, design and implementation of version control systems, change control systems, defect tracking and build environments for multiple platforms. Excellent communication skills are critical as candidate will work closely with IT, Software Development, QA, etc. on a daily basis.
This is an outstanding opportunity to get on-board with a well-established and fast paced Internet organization in the DTC area with tons of growth potential. Client is currently conducting interviews and is motivated to hire immediately.
MUST HAVE:
• 3+ years experience as a Build/Release/Configuration Engineer
• 3+ years of experience with SourceSafe and Team Foundation Server
• Knowledge of .NET 2.0 Platform, Java, ColdFusion, IIS and VMWare
• Experience with Configuration Management industry standards and best practices
• Prior experience in software configuration management in multiple large projects
NICE TO HAVE:
• Experience in computer programming, scripting, software development and test
• Experience with relational databases, Oracle and MS SQL Server
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum)
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
