IT Auditor for a Fortune 50 Company.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related business discipline(s).
At least 4 years progressive experience in IT/IS Audit with a Big 4 or Internal Audit department - manufacturing background is favorable, but not necessary.
Demonstrated leadership competencies with the ability to work effectively across all levels and functions within the business and can easily manage a co-source relationship with third party audit firm when applicable.
Strong oral and written communication skills and proven presentation skills.
Extensive knowledge/experience in project management, strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills. The Senior IS Auditor position is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a dynamic audit professional who seeks to build on their existing Information Systems leadership experience through in-depth exposure to a fast-paced international business. The Internal Audit department is developmental in nature and employees are assisted in furthering career goals through placement into business segment roles, after completing a two year rotation in IS Audit. This group is seen as a premiere entry point into multiple business segments. Examples of position expectations can include:
Lead IS risk based audits, manage 1-4 auditors per engagement.
Examine and verify Information System processes and procedures from internal organizations in order to determine the reliability and effectiveness of the existing control systems.
Continuously analyze business risk profiles and provide assurance that appropriate risk mitigation is taken.
Provide management with independent and objective reports, evaluations, appraisals, counsel, and recommendations.
Consult with the Global IS Audit Director, company divisions and subsidiaries by evaluating and recommending improvements to business practices, processes, and control procedures.
