SHORT SCOOP: Design, code & create outstanding websites, interfaces & multimedia content; must be HTML & Adobe Creative Suite expert. Windows Presentation, Silverlight, 3D, Dreamweaver, JavaScript, Ajax are a plus.
SUMMARY:
The Graphic & Web Design Guru will be the global leader and subject matter expert for designing next generation websites, web application user interfaces, and multimedia content to support the company's expanding marketing efforts. He/she defines and implements high-quality user interface designs including usability, visual standards, consistent user interaction models, solution integration, and intuitive navigation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Designs prototype and user interfaces for websites and applications
* Assists in the design & implementation of email and print templates
* Designs the look & feel for multiple brands based on a set of defined attributes
* Provides visual style for each brand (consistent in tone, voice, messaging, imagery, impression, personality)
* Works closely with interaction designers and developers to optimize user experience
* Works with potential web partners on any outsourced content creation
* Researches information and best practices to enhance value of designs
* Effectively manages, warehouses, and catalogues all graphic assets necessary for production
* Ensures consistency with corporate design and brand guidelines
* Participates in special projects or task forces as opportunities arise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, Macromedia Flash, InDesign)
* Good communication skills, works well in a collaborative/team environment
* Strong and proven track record of working on existing B2B and B2C
* Knowledge of browser compatibility issues, W3C standards, accessibility guidelines, optimization techniques
* Search Engine Optimization and Web Visibility Marketing
* Able to manage multiple projects at once with flexibility to change focus quickly as projects dictate.
