JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for enterprise wide architecture design, oversight and maintenance of existing and/or proposed integration platforms. Participates in designing and evolving a Service Oriented Reference Architecture to support the business processes required by the enterprise. Guides all teams in moving towards the architecture goal.
*Study various ESB implementations and help select one for enterprise use.
*Study an existing business process that may contain a number of manual steps and batch processes and arrive at a fully automated process that can be implemented using loosely coupled integration platforms.
*Study existing web sites, evolve their functionality in a direction consistent with the Enterprise Portal Strategy.
*Leads and contributes to architecture plans, processes, and methodologies, ensuring developmental alignment with business processes and across distribution sales objectives.
*Assesses the impact of integration projects across the enterprise against existing infrastructure and defined architecture requirements/ constraints.
*Leads code reviews of new and changing systems, insuring adherence to formal processes, standards, and quality practices, as well as the alignment to application, infrastructure and strategic architecture plans.
*Accesses, utilizes, and discloses individually identifiable information to perform specific functions of the position in accordance with Company policies and procedures, and as required by law.
*Proposes and documents enterprise wide programming, interface and code maintenance standards, security policies, technology selection criteria and design guidelines. Actively participates in setting up governance to enforce standards, policies, guidelines.
