Responsibilities
Prepare statistical summaries and special reports from the UltiPro human resource information system (HRMS) to supply the human resources and payroll function with data management support. Provide technical HRIS, support, guidance, training and assistance to human resources personnel, financial and other company users.

**Frequent contact with human resources, information systems, and payroll department staff, and external providers.

**Contact with various company personnel at all levels.

**Contact with HRIS provider, outside vendors and various consultants.

1. Continually monitor human resource and payroll information needs. Assess, design, build, test, document and implement new requirements. Frequently test on-going functionality of human resource information system (HRIS). This includes enhancements and regulatory updates for the HR & Payroll System.

2. Design, develop, test and run recurring or special reports for statistical analyses or compliance reporting.

3. Working with end users, define informational needs and sources and coordinate systems accordingly. Troubleshoot, resolve problems, and provide functional and technical assistance to end users.

4. Develop, prepare and conduct training programs for end users. Develop training materials and supporting documentation.

5. Serve as liaison with information systems staff in resolving programming and related problems or issues.

6. Assist in the testing of new releases ensuring system upgrades are compliant with Sarbanes Oxley and internal audit controls. Ensure data integrity and effectiveness of system.

7. Maintain correct set up values for various foundation tables in HRIS to reflect changes to the organization. Examples of this include location and department structures, job definitions, and benefit and compensation plan designs, payroll earnings and deduction tables.

8. Work with outside vendors ensuring electronic files meet vendor**s file specifications and process employee transactions accurately.

9. Ensure data feeds to internal systems and web pages are accurate and timely.

10. Support other systems ensuring on-going functionality meets organizational requirements during the process cycle and throughout the year. Work with IT testing and implementing new functionality. Field questions on system usage and functionality from all levels of the organization. Provide system training as required. Prepare necessary reports as requested and needed. Such systems include performance appraisal system, mainframe connection, quarterly and annual payroll tax processing and reconciliation.

Requirements:
**Minimum of five years of comprehensive working knowledge of all human resources activities including compensation, benefits, recruiting, employee relations and training with systems or UltiPro experience preferred.
**Bachelor degree or equivalent with appropriate systems coursework.
**Good understanding of operating systems and database applications.
**Working knowledge of company human resource policies, practices and procedures.
**Strong automated computer skills including various software packages.
**Strong working functional knowledge of HRIS applications.
**Excellent analytical skills.
**Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Excellent project management skills.
**Ability to be detail-oriented and prioritize work while handling multiple projects and assignments.
**Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures.
**Performs work that is varied in nature requiring originality and that may be somewhat difficult in character.
**Competent to work on more complex projects/assignments independently.
**Assist in projects for the department.
