We are looking for Exchange Systems Engineer- Austin/Tx
Candidates should posses the following minimum knowledge and skills:
Description:
Candidate understands, applies and may adapt fundamental concepts, practices and procedures related to systems engineering.
* Advanced knowledge of common system hardware design configurations that optimize system performance.
* Understands, applies and may adapt fundamental concepts, practices and procedures related to systems administration.
* Advanced knowledge of system performance, hardware, software, and related troubleshooting and quality procedures.
* Understands more advanced concepts of systems administration.
* Possesses a strong working knowledge of Dell's business needs.
* Ability to recommend system upgrades and improvements to achieve Dell's goals and objectives.
* Understands software development concepts and processes.
* Good communication and customer service abilities

Qualifications :
Candidate has strong teamwork skills, able to work well with groups on a global level, and a consultative approach and problem solving abilities to enable our business partners to operate more effectively. These candidates will be responsible for designing, testing, administering, and troubleshooting large enterprise-scale Messaging environment. The person will work in a team responsible for the daily maintenance, infrastructure support, and performance tuning of the Email environment. Additional work will be based on the migration of newly acquired Exchange / Messaging environments
Recommended Qualifications:
* Candidates must have exceptional customer service, problem solving, and communication skills
* Must have sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations at a peer level as well as convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals
* Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and with a global team of engineers
Technical Requirements:
* Prior experience with Exchange 2003
* 2 Years Windows 2003, User administration, patch, Performance Monitors and Exchange System Administrator
* Experience with Live Communication Server / IM, Iron port appliance, Mobile Messaging a plus.
* Strong knowledge of Networking, Active Directory, LDAP, Exchange
2-6 years of professional experience (2 years directly related to I/T or functional area) or equivalent combination of education/experience.
