We are looking for a seasoned engineering manager who has led a team of at least 50 engineers in the design through manufacture of electromechanical systems for a client in the greater Philadelphia area.
Compensation: Compensation is open though we are targeting $115-160,000. Excellent benefits package. A generous relocation package is available (sorry, no 3rd party house buys).
General: This engineering professional will manage 50+ engineers in the design of electronic, mechanical, software, firmware... systems, sub-systems, components or modules. Provide technical guidance and direction. Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans. Work effectively with senior management team including sales, marketing, production and C level management. Meet program cost, schedule and performance requirements. Assist senior management in determining technical
direction.
Required Skills: BSEE/ME, a stable employment history and 15+ years industry experience with a proven track record in managing a team of 50+ multi-disciplinary engineering professionals in the design, product development and manufacturing of electromechanical products such as instrumentation, automation and-or control systems. Successful track record of leading project teams in bringing new products to market, as well as having developed and executed plans for the design of electrical, electronic, mechanical or software systems or sub-systems.
Pluses: Graduate degree (s). Wireless technology incorporating RF communication technology where products communicate with other equipment via Ethernet, RS-232 protocol, low voltage relays, etc...
