CPU software is seeking a quality assurance engineer to qualify Apple's latest CPUs. We are looking for a team player who thrives on aggressive schedules. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating new products under development, designing and executing efficient test cases and/or tools that target mission critical functional areas such as bootROM and MacOS X. The candidate will also be responsible for finding, isolating, writing, regressing, and tracking bugs through resolution.
Education:
-BS in CS, CE or EE
Required Experience:
* Minimum 2 years experience in a QA position
* Strong knowledge of the QA process
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to develop test guidelines from specifications.
* Proven skill in bug hunting and regression
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of Macintosh system and Mac OS X or UNIX variant
- Cross platform experience Windows is a plus.
- Testing automation using PERL, AppleScript, or other scripting language
