The SAP Security Manager will work with technical and business leadership to establish and implement SAP security policy, drive secure systems development and configuration of SAP applications, assist with SAP Application Governance across all modules, provide technical guidance on SAP systems management and operations and best practices, directly develop, coordinates and disseminates SAP training and awareness programs, reviews technical project deliverables as they affect security architecture, works with application project teams to ensure mechanisms are in place to assure compliance to all technical security policy and process as every project's deliverables are implemented, assist Business Support / Operations with regular ongoing end user support and security administration as needed and lead efforts to address security incidents and mitigate all identified / prioritized vulnerabilities and risks to SAP technical security.
Technology areas covered include all SAP data processing systems. The company has installed and deployed a full suite of SAP systems -- ECC, BW, SRM/EBP, APO, CUA, Virsa Suite, Solution Manager/Service Desk and XI are fully deployed. In addition, from a Security perspective, we are planning for an Enterprise Portal deployment and HCM. Significant experience in these technologies is required.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and Lead Security Team, Project Deliverables, Budget Management and Project Planning.
• Lead SAP Security efforts as new divisions' rolls out as well as sustain and support existing divisions live on SAP.
• Serve as the SAP Security Technical Lead for SAP Security Systems and Applications Governance
• Supervise SAP Security Administration activities
• infrastructure components supporting SAP applications
• Work with business users of SAP Applications to guide the corporation toward more secure, better governed applications which exhibit improved internal controls and robust business processes
Required Skills:
Experience:
• Substantial proven SAP Security technical lead experience (5 or more years) in a major SAP implementation in a medium or larger business setting is required
• Hands on SAP Security experience is the primary requirement along with some SAP technical project team Security leadership skills
• Technical team leadership of security effort during a major application deployment of SAP systems, and business contact and communication skills are desired
• SOX/SOD Experience is desired.
• Global Rollout experience desired.
Technical Experience:
• SAP software technology
• Substantial security experience with SAP NetWeaver technology and related SAP Applications (ECC, BW, EBP, CUA, Virsa Suite, XI, etc.) is required
• Enterprise Portal Experience is required
• HCM Experience is required.
• MS Windows, Active Directory and Windows Server 2003 experience is highly desirable
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or better (Information Systems or Audit / Control degree preferred)
• Technical Security Industry certification preferred but not required
• SAP NetWeaver Security education and experience is a requirement
