We currently have a client with the following permanent position in Atlanta, Georgia:
ERP Project Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
This position, under limited supervision, plans, directs, executes, controls and manages multiple department projects and special initiatives.
It is responsible for the management and/or coordination of tasks for a variety of medium to large sized enterprise projects of moderate to high complexity and risk.
This position leads a diverse team of consultants and employees representing multiple organizations in a highly visible project management role.
Projects will have aggressive timelines and the selected candidate must be able to identify, attract and retain a competent and dedicated staff.
Projects will be managed from conception through implementation using all phases of the System Development Life Cycle. Project assignments will vary over time.
Minimum Training & Experience:
• Five years of IT experience.
• Two years of management/supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management or related field.
• PMP certified or eligible for Project Management certification within 12 months.
• Five years of experience in managing medium to large size or enterprise level projects.
• Solid understanding of System Development Life Cycle.
• Skilled with using Microsoft Project, Outlook, Visio and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled at conflict resolution.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Strong organization, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate to both business and technical personnel.
