C++ developer needed for direct hire opportunity located in Los Angeles ,CA. The company provides physical natural gas trading, transportation and storage services to North American natural gas producers, utilities, wholesalers, and industrial end users. Need someone to work closely with other programming and quantitative specialists focusing on the implementation of our risk management and trading systems.
Technical requirements:
Strong programming and design skills in C++
A solid understanding of OO concepts and design patterns
Experience with relational databases (ideally Sybase)
Proven track record of delivery on large projects
Unix platform experience
Financial markets and mathematics experience, whilst not mandatory, would be highly regarded.
Professional requirements:
Outstanding university degree in Information Technology, computer science, engineering or equivalent
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure to provide timely and accurate systems solutions
