SHORT SCOOP: 6+ yrs web development exp, ideally DB applications; 2+ yrs exp as project manager or lead. Must know full SDLC, expertise with Visual Studio, ASP, .Net, C#, HTML, XML, VB, VBScript, JavaScript, SQL, T-SQL, SQL Server.
SUMMARY:
The Sr. Development Guru is responsible for the full lifecycle development (architecture, design, development, release, and support) of business applications and data warehouse efforts enterprise-wide.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Works closely with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify user information requirements
* Seeks opportunities to design, build, and support applications based on MS .NET architectures to improve business processes and support critical strategies
* Works closely with the software engineering teams, operations, and other IT functional areas to enable multiplatform application systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree of equivalent exp
* 6+ yrs exp in web applications development, emphasis on DB applications
* 2+ yrs as a project/team manager or lead role
* Exp in all phases of SDLC
* Ability to design, document, and manage web-based software
* Conceptual and practical knowledge of object-oriented design principles
* Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks
* Takes ownership of projects and manages them from requirements definition through deployment and support
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
* Must haves: Visual Studio, .Net, ASP, ASP.Net, HTML, XML, C#, VB, VBScript, JavaScript, COM/DCOM * SQL Server 2000+, T-SQL, SQL Server Analysis Services
