Our client is looking to hire a full time ETL developer for their DW implementations.
This is a DIRECT EMPLOYMENT opportunity.
Required skills:
• Mid level developer with 2- 3 years of experience writing ETL programs in PL/SQL under UNIX. Note: we need hands on PL/SQL skills for ETL process - not just using an ETL tool.
Job responsibilities:
Designing the end-to-end production process to extract data from source systems, transforming the data, and loading it into the data warehouse.
Also, developing field-level transformations to translate data from source systems into the target dimensional model, and ensuring the generation and capture of transformation-related metadata -- all in the most resource-efficient way possible.
Map a strategy to identify the pros and cons of migrating from a PL/SQL environment to using an ETL tool.
All eligible candidates ( including H1s) meeting the above skills can be considered for DIRECT HIRE. Interview will be a two stage process - telephone screening followed by in-person discussions.
