Our client, a leader in the Web Analytics space is actively searching for a
Senior Software Engineer to take part in the design and development of some of
their greatest products. The successful candidate will be a motivated leader
with excellent people, project-management and development skills, with the
desire to create a product that exceeds customer demands and achieves market
success.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Substantially contribute to the development efforts for a software product
through the entire SDLC ** including User Interface, QA, documentation, and
release.
* Design, Develop, and plan new products or new features for their web based
applications interface utilizing Java technologies.
* Develop and maintain the project plan and schedule based on individual as
well as project team availability.
* Exercise judgement within generally defined best practices and policies in
selecting methods and techniques for providing solutions.
Required/Skills:
* Minimum 5+ years working on web based user interfaces, with an expert
knowledge of Java/J2EE and HTML/DHTML. Experience with presenting complex data
in an easy to understand presentation through the use of tables and data
visualizations is required.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is a must.
* Demonstrated ability to diagnose and solve problems with complex web based
applications.
* Demonstrated ability with solving complex challenges to deliver a dynamic,
responsive, user friendly web based interface.
* Strong drive for quality along with excellent written and verbal
communication skills is required.
* Self motivated, able to work with little supervision.
Desired Skills/Experience:
* Prior production experience in a software product development environment
preferred.
* Business motivated ** oriented to goals of seeing products meet and exceed
customer demand, be successful in the market, and achieve industry awards.
* BS CS or equivalent experience.
