The Senior J2EE developer will work on the maintenance and significant enhancement of an existing Java based security shared service.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Maintain and troubleshoot (as needed) existing implementation.
• Develop enhancements to shared service in concert with other development projects.
• Create build and deployment scripts.
• Serve as an advisor to other development teams on how to best utilize the shared service.
Technical Skills Required:
• 10 + years experience in enterprise development
• Hands-on J2EE experience including in-depth design and development experience using at least some of: Struts/JSP/Servlets, Web Services, XML / XSLT, Oracle (JDBC)
• Current experience with WebLogic App Server from a development and administration perspective.
• Experience with release packaging and deployment within a WebLogic, UNIX environment.
• Prior experience creating or maintaining security frameworks using LDAPs like ActiveDirectory.
• Ability to follow an established pattern when enhancing functionality
Functional Skills Required:
• Ability to work without a lot of supervision.
• Excellent problem identification, analysis and solving skills.
Desired Skills:
• Prior experience with RSA Access Manager (formerly known as RSA ClearTrust)
• Prior experience developing or maintaining shared services
• Past production support experience with WebLogic based services.
• Prior exposure to Agile or Iterative development practices
