The job description is as follows:
Business Analyst / Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Prepare project plans and track progress against the plan
- Coordinate vendor activities with end users
- Collect / document departmental requirements
- Develop reports using Crystal against vendor or in-house databases
- Perform application testing and review
- Develop user and support documentation
- Verify client installation processes and document for future use
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with user, DoIT staff and vendor staff at various management levels
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
- Superior analytical ability
- Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and track details effectively
- Relational DB experience (SQL Server or Oracle)
- Crystal Reports
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with Java, JSP, J2EE
Benefits:
The county provides free medical benefits for the entire family.
After the first full year of employment, 3 weeks vacation
5 personal days are provided and 1 sick day per month is accurred for each month worked
Pension is provided which is 2% of yearly salary for each year worked.
Overtime is paid for working additional hours.
