OBJECTIVE:
To provide the technology leadership to develop and promote high-quality solutions and services to our customers, sales team and vendor partners.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ability to be a billable technical consultant in Asset Management and/or Service Management area
• Provide project management support and best practice implementation of products and tools in the Service/Asset Management practice, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and according to customer requirements.
• Provide project management support across multiple projects
• Support the pre-sales process (e.g., development of proposals/Statement of Work)
• Ability to document requirements, specifications and testing plans, as well as conduct gap analyses and business cases to support the customers' needs
• Ability to use project planning, resourcing and tracking tools
• Manage complex technical and political environments to ensure successful implementation
• Maintain project efficiency and consistency of work efforts
• Assist in managing customer relationships while serving as project manager
• Assist in the development and mentoring of junior staff
• Assist in the development and execution of the business plan for the Practice Area
• Be the liaison between customer and management team
• Articulate project objectives, customer expectations, and anticipated results to Sales and Service Delivery Managers as a catalyst in the pre-sales process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in related field
• 6-8 years experience in applicable technology focus, at least 3 years in a systems consultative role, and 1-3 years in a project management role
• Experience with Service/Asset Management services, tools, and technologies, and implementation experience a “must have” (especially HP Openview Products: ServiceCenter and AssetCenter).
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Experience working in a team based environment
• Ability to delegate, multi-task and manage several sales opportunities/projects at once
• A track record of meeting tight deadlines.
• A flexible approach to both client and internal activities.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technology
• PMP and ITIL certification a plus.
