We are hiring a Lead Data Base Administrator experienced with DB2 on AIX, IBM z/OS, MVS and AIX technologies. The DBA will provide ongoing team support in System Upgrades, Data Administration, Database design, Database System Administration, Disaster Recovery, security monitoring, training setups, storage management and Data Warehouse support.
Emphasis on support of a highly visible data warehouse application running on an AIX platform with DB2 used as the primary data store.
Responsibilities also include:
DB2 Database Administration
Crystal Reports System Administration and development
Erwin Model Manager System Administration
REQUIREMENTS:
-- BS in Computer Sciences with an emphasis on database management, or equivalent technical training.
-- Minimum of 5-8 years of database experience.
SKILLS:
-- Experience with DB2 on AIX, IBM z/OS, MVS and AIX technologies.
-- Experience with both mainframe and client/server technology, including: UNIX Korn shell and Perl scripting, JCL, FlashCopy, SQL query creation, Stored Procedures, QMF for Windows.
-- Microsoft Office Suite (MS Access, Word, EXCEL).
PREFERRED:
Knowledge of: SQL Server DBA, Red Brick DBA, Crystal Reports, Erwin Model Manager, MCSource, Control-M, Team Track, BRIO, DBArtisan, Ab Initio, Tivoli Storage Manager.
