We are looking for a seasoned RF engineering leader and chief engineer experienced in ground, airborne and spacecraft RF communication systems for a client in the Philadelphia area.
Compensation: Base salary open but we are targeting $120-160,000. Excellent benefits package. And generous relocation package (sorry, no 3rd party house buys).
You will own the engineering activities in this business area. Develop and maintain the technical support for the strategic vision. Provide technical support for new business pursuits. Create and maintain the technology roadmap. Accountable for Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI) and engineering Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), as well as process compliance and the coordination for accurate workforce forecasts.
Required Skills: Technical bachelors degree with 15+ years engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years first line engineering management. A strong focus on product realization. Significant experience in RF engineering as applied to ground, airborne and spacecraft RF communication systems. Demonstrated success in leading engineering efforts on pursuits and proposals and leading engineering efforts from the concept development phase through the operational evaluation phase. A successful record with respect to cost, schedule, technical achievement. Knowledge of the Level 3 CMM process and requirements. Knowledge or experience with emerging communications techniques such as OFDM; commercial communications technologies (WiFi, WiMAX) Background with circuit design; analog & RF, and digital design. Knowledge of digital signal processing techniques for communications. Knowledge of or experience with signal processing for sensor applications (seismic, acoustic, IR, magnetic sensor types).
Pluses: PhD/MSEE, Physics, etc... NASA space communications & Army Tactical Communications. Experience developing and qualifying products for Space applications. Human space mission experience especially helpful. Experience developing and qualifying products for rugged military applications. Have
held at least a DOD Secret level clearance within the past 2 years.
