Position
An exciting opportunity to work in Tokyo, Japan. Japanese speaking is not required, but it's nice to have.
Reporting to the Team Leader, works with Applications Development team and is responsible for full application development life cycle in a Lotus Notes/Domino environment. Also performs other systems related tasks as necessary.
Functional Tasks
Demonstrated ability in the following:
• Assisting in the integration of Lotus Notes databases with non-Notes applications.
• Handling daily maintenance, support and troubleshooting of Domino applications.
• Monitoring the help desk database and handle end-user problems and related issues.
Software Skills
Position requires expertise in the following:
• Creating databases and workflow applications using @Function formula language, JavaScript, LotusScript and other products as needed for both Lotus Notes client and browser-based application.
• Creating agents with applications using LotusScript class development and @Function formula language.
Other Requirements
• 6+ years of system analysis experience
• 4+ years of Lotus Notes Application Development
• Ability to work under pressure to diagnose and resolve problems is imperative
• History of providing strong customer service
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Team work
• Experience Planning and organizing
• System architecture experience
• Ability to read and write programming code including C++ and Java is a plus
• Understands the system development life cycle and can train others on SDLC concepts
Bachelor (4-year) degree (Computer Science preferred).
