Responsibilities:
• Plans daily and weekly production schedules for assigned production lines. Analyzes demand and forecasts to determine production needs and schedules. Prepares work orders for production.
• Develops production plans through careful consideration of demand requirements, material positions, inventory levels, capacity, and new product introductions.
• Maintains accurate levels of raw materials.
• Develops, implements and maintains Kanban systems that balance considerations of the total cost of ownership.
• Expedites services and/or materials when required and handles material and vendor rejections or problems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree, preferably in business, supply chain, or operations related field
• Minimum 5 years of production planning experience in a work order environment
• Industry certification (APICS, CPM) and/or membership in related professional organization
• Advanced Excel skills
