Java Tech Lead
Contract To Hire
Location: Southlake, TX
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position requires a candidate who can Design and Develop applications using Java, XML and Databases. The successful candidate must have experience in building high performance, reliable, scalable systems in a multi-tiered, distributed environment. Candidate should have very good understanding of Database concepts (preferably Oracle) and should have expertise with high-end transaction systems.
Skill Requirements:
· Strong leadership skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Good problem solving skills
· Ability to lead/mentor junior members of a team
· Experience with CM/CI processes a plus
· Effectively work in a geographically distributed team environment
Technical Requirements (minimum years):
· 5+ years experience with Java/J2EE
· 3+ years experience with Web Services, XML, Schemas and WSDL
· 3+ years experience with JDBC, Database concepts and SQL
· 3+ years experience with HTML and/or Javascript
· 3+ years experience with Unix/Linux
· 2+ years experience working with frameworks like Spring
· 1+ years experience in perl/shell scripts
