Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for an AS/400 System Support position.
The position description is as follows:
Responsible for all aspects of the operation of the IBM I-Series including Job Monitoring, ASP usage, disk utilization, PTF's and Cumulatives, Backups, Restores, Operator Messages. Further responsibilities will include monitoring of the I-Tera
High Availability software, Role Swaps and Disaster Recovery. Some Application Support and End-User Support.
Requirements:
High School Diploma
At least 5 year's experience on AS/400 I-Series
Familiarity with High Availability software and IBM journaling
Big plus if familiar with Bally ACSC or Infinium Financial or MMS (Stratton Warren Purchasing) systems
SKILLS
I-Series (AS/400) Operations
Basic AS/400 Query
OS/400 knowledge
SQL knowledge a plus
RPG knowledge a plus
