Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for a MIS Manager position.
The position description is as follows:
-Responsible for performing general operating tasks on a daily basis, including daily system backup procedures, report printing, and periodic actions
-Must ensure general and preventative maintenance is performed on each system to maintain adequate performance and
reliability
-Handles critical problems by swiftly determining and minimizing actions affecting the company's revenue generation due to system reliability and performance
-Informs users of the system's resources, including the types of data and information available in the system and how it can be accessed
-Plans upgrades to minimize system downtime and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED
-Must have a 4-year Degree in Computer Science, IT Technology or related field. (previous Casino/Hotel experience preferred)
-Must be 21 years of age and must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming License
-Must have proficient knowledge in PC Networking, POS, telephone systems, and troubleshooting experience in MS Office, etc.
-Must be able to keep up in a fast paced environment
