The Major Accounts Executive is responsible for selling Wireless Broadband services to a targeted base of Fortune 1000 customers mainly in the Financial Market community. The Sales Executive seeks to obtain, increase, and maintain revenue streams for the company. This is accomplished by assessing opportunities, developing proposals/presentations that meet client business needs & closing associated sales. The Accounts Executive should utilize both short and long-range marketing strategies; build relationships and strive for customer satisfaction in all dealings. The job has a monthly quota attainment requirement and the individual will participate in sales incentive compensation plans.

Responsibilities:
? Develop relationships with customers in assigned module.
• Assess sales opportunities, developing and presenting creative proposals that will ensure closing the sale.
• Input opportunities into sales funnel utilizing segment specific guidelines (i.e. eCRM).
• Funnel/forecast management
• Contract negotiation
• Assist in the development of proposals
• Apply solutions to real-life problems.
• Anticipate client concerns and roadblocks, to overcome obstacles that may delay customer decision.
• Maintain expertise in technology in order to meet and address all client business needs.
• Utilize pre-sale Technical Specialists and post-sale/lifecycle resources to meet and address all client business needs.
• Maintain customer satisfaction focus in all activities.
• Work with sales management to develop sales, technical solutions.
• Identify revenue opportunities within customers' communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed.
• Prospecting, qualifying and generating sales within our established Trading Partners.
• Ensure suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
• Telephone prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline. Telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting and proactive contact of existing Trading Partners.
• Identify and close additional purchases of products and services by customers' communities.
• Work closely with Support, Community Management, Account Management and Business Development.
• Respond to requests from customers for information and giving on-line presentations.
• Work with Sales Engineering to engage in technical discussions with potential clients, demonstrations and presentations.
• Keep management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.

Requirements:
• 8+ years in customer service, public speaking or training role in a technology company.
• Experience with EDI, XML, business-to-business commerce, and Internet communication software are also desirable.
• Candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
• Work experience should include a minimum of 8+ years in a sales role.
• Superior knowledge of accessing and using the Internet, HTML, and MS Office tools; knowledge of computer systems, communication tools and software such as Windows NT, FTP, HTTPS, SMTP, Internet Security, and delimited file formats.
• Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral.
• Ability to sense and relate observations to business opportunity.
• Individual must meet minimum requirement standards on the sales and technical assessments as set up by each strata.
