Business Intelligence Developer
Position: Senior Level BI Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Education: 4-yr College degree in Computer Science
Skills: Required:
BI Development Tool -- e.g. Hyperion (Brio), Cognos, Business Objects
SQL and/or Teradata SQL
Unix
Data Model Construction - at least one of the following:
(Teradata, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server)
Good visual aesthetic sense
Involvement in all aspects of SDLC and accustom to working with technical documents (flowcharts, programming specifications, etc.)
Experienced in testing phases -- unit, peer, system, and integration
Very good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
Experienced front-end developer familiar with web-based protocols and interaction paradigms (HTTP GET/POST and AJAX)
Java, ASP .NET, C#, Dynamic HTML, JavaScript, COBOL
ODBC connections
ETL processes
Unix administration
MDX
Data Warehouse Design and Architecture

7+ years full systems development life cycle
3+ years BI development
Initial Project Assignment / Responsibilities:
This candidate will assume responsibility for development of BI-related projects and initiatives and a portion of the associated production support environment. In addition, be part of a ground-breaking venture to develop and support Operational Dashboards to provide proactive monitoring and alerts to business partners via front-end web applications to allow them to make better operational decisions.
