Centauri Solutions has an opening for a Systems Management Control Specialist with Secret Clearance (TS w/SCI eligibility preferred). This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work at an innovative facility in Linthicum, MD. The ideal candidate will must have experience in several areas: software engineering, system administration, integration, database, networking, security and system/software architectures. The Systems Management and Control Specialist must have in-depth knowledge of the following:
Software Engineering
• Familiarity with web-based development
• Design, develop, and maintain applications involving a wide variety of programming and scripting languages
System Administration
• Familiarity with basic system administration concepts
• Strong Unix Background
Integration
• Experienced with system, software (COTS/GOTS) and hardware integration
• Knowledge of hardware and hardware components
Data Base
• Experience with relational database (Sybase, MySQL)
Networking
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts and protocols (SNMP, TCP/IP, ftp, etc)
The Systems Management Control Specialist should be familiar with system security as well as knowledge of defense related open architectures.
Active Secret Clearance is required; TS w/SCI eligibility is preferred.
Qualifications include:
• BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Five years experience with large scale-scale systems
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with excellent problem solving skills
• High level of organization, attention to detail and follow-through
