Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer to be a key player in the quality effort of a leading web software firm developing award-winning SaaS solutions. The successful candidate will have 5+ years commercial experience in both manual black box and automated testing of enterprise web applications (writing and executing tests) while providing leadership to more junior engineers as well as project coordination. A broad technical background is required, with exposure to many different technologies; familiarity with Windows is expected. Experience with RDBMS technologies--especially MS SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, etc.)--is required.

Experience in load testing is highly desired, as is coding experience in one or more .NET technologies.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

Design, author and execute manual test procedures; work with test automation team
Document clear, concise and detailed product defect reports and work with developers to ensure their successful reproduction/resolution
Follow-up and verify resolved bugs
Provide ongoing project status to the QA Manager.

Work with Technical Support to resolve customer issues

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant degee

Minimum of 5+ years experience in software Quality Assurance, with a thorough understanding of the role of QA in the software development lifecycle

Power-user level competency Windows test platforms

Experience with structured programming and scripting languages highly desired, especially .NET technologies

XML and SQL query authoring-level skills

Self-starter attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
