Experienced Lead Software Engineer to be part of our Professional Services Software Development team. You will be leading a small team (2-5) of professional services software engineers within a high-energy, time-sensitive, client-focused environment to produce elegant, robust, high-performance software solutions with the scalability to serve our rapidly growing business.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage an engineering team that designs and implements web-based solutions
Responsible for personnel management (evaluating employee performance, recruiting/termination, training)
Ensure that appropriate 24x7 coverage exists for their areas
Contribute to the architectural direction of our software
Improve site performance and software quality
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members
Collaborate with SQA engineers, UI designers, Account and Project Managers
Estimate development tasks and deliver projects are delivered on schedule
Write software technical specifications that are clear and concise
Adhere to best practices including unit testing for software written
Innovate new solutions and keep up with new and emerging technologies
Balance management responsibilities with your individual development responsibilities on client solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
5+ years experience developing web applications
At least 2 years experience supervising and managing teams of at least 3-6 developers
Object oriented software development expertise required
Commercial experience with .NET 2.0 development; .NET 3.x experience is strongly desired
Knowledge of SQL and experience in basic stored procedure development
Solid understanding of ASP.NET and C#
Prefer experience in a TDD environment, or experience with automated unit testing
Familiarity with the major aspects of the W3C specification for HTML and CSS, as well as with JavaScript and the DOM
Strong written and verbal communication skills
