Job Description:
* Mid-level position working closely with software developers and user groups to analyze, code, debug, and document assigned tasks.
* Current need is to help complete an existing project written in Java and JSP against an Oracle database using web services for which specifications already exist.
* Maintains and supports new and existing web-based developed applications.
* Supports customized web applications to ensure availability during posted hours of operation.
* Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
* Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications.
* Implement programming changes and back port developed software for peer group.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of: Java, JSP and HTML required.
* Knowledge of the following technologies would be helpful: Linux, CSS, SQL, JSP, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Eclipse, FTP, SSH, CVS, Ant, Junit, XSL, Dreamweaver, Batch Scripting, JMeter, Database concepts, Tomcat, Windows 2003 Server, and MS Project.
* Must be able to independently troubleshoot problems and find acceptable solutions.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of Four years experience in software development.
* Must have sufficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
