Leading online advertising firm working with Democratic and progressive groups is seeking an experienced web developer to join our dynamic development team and help sharpen our creative edge. Ideal candidates have 4+ years experience developing, testing, and maintaining dynamic online projects. Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines. Ability to pick up new technologies as needed strongly desired.
Duties include:
- Working independently or on project teams to design, execute and maintain clean, easily navigable and search-engine friendly information architecture for online projects of varying complexity
- Consult and recommend development solutions to meet client needs/timelines
- Develop wire frames and site maps to communicate site structure and design
- Work with designers to implement design elements from concept to completion of project
- Help maintain and support a variety of online campaigns
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Solid ActionScript, HTML/XML and CSS knowledge
- Knowledge of a range of AMP and AJAX solutions for developing and maintaining dynamic web sites
- Knowledge of MYSQL and PHP.
- Experience working with open-source CMS solutions necessary
- Knowledge of Drupal a plus.
