Senior Software Engineer
Currently available is an opening for a Senior Software Engineer to become a contributing member of a very well established, highly successful software development company in San Diego, CA 92121. This is a well managed privately held company that provides software products and services to both very large as well as mid sized companies throughout the US.
If you are a Software Engineer who has a solid command of SDLC practices as they apply to the delivery of large-scale enterprise product development projects we will be interested in reviewing your resume. We are interested in applicants who have 3-5 years experience or more in the following technical areas:
* Java/J2EE/EJB/Swing programming skills (EJB 3.0 experience a plus)
* SQL experience
* Rational Application Developer 7.0 or Eclipse IDE
* Working knowledge of IBM Websphere Application Server 6.1
* UML experience (Rational Rose preferred)
* XML and SOAP (Webservices) experience
* Oracle RDBMS experience (10g/11g preferred)
* Windows 2003/XP experience
* DHTML with Internet Explorer experience
* Unix experience a plus
* Working knowledge of Oracle Application Server 10g a plus
In this position you will be responsible for participating in design meetings and performing technical analysis of functional design specifications. You should be capable of capturing technical designs in UML (use case, activity, sequence, and class diagrams). You will participate in the construction of an EJB-based enterprise application hosted on an IBM Websphere platform.
