Casino Careers Online has a client seeking a candidate for an Information Systems Network Administrator position.
The position description is as follows:
Job Summary: Assume primary responsibility and technical leadership for the company's computer network systems.
Manage server based network accounts, security for business data stored across all enterprise network systems. Design and execute network solutions for new company requirements.
Employee reports To: Information Systems Director
Extent of Job Authority: Support for all company computer and network assets in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Specific Duties Performed:
-Create and mange user accounts, troubleshoot login problems, maintain password change intervals and make adjustments on a scheduled basis.
-Assume primary responsibility for data backup and DRP for all I.S. network servers.
-Connect new clients to company network backbone, coordinate work between select vendors for supplemental network connectivity when needed.
-Install, terminate, and test category 5 cable assuring compliance to IEEE 802.x standards. Knowledge and proficiency with use if network cabling diagnostic equipment is required.
-Perform physical inventory of Network hardware, PC hardware and software, assist the team in maintaining the I.S. inventory database.
-Augment the support role of Information Systems, with assisting in PC setups and user assistance when needed.
-Maintain connectivity on terminal appliances, such as time and attendance network clocks, AS/400 terminals, Micros POS stations and X-Windows clients.
Requirements:
EDUCATION:
-High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. (Copy of document must be attached with application)
SKILLS:
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate with team members and end users.
-Ability to adapt, administrate, and provide instruction on new technology pertaining to client-server concepts.
-Ability to work with a technical team, and assume responsibility for the company computer network infrastructure.
EXPERIENCE:
-Minimum two (2) years experience with server backup disciplines, including job scheduling, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
-Minimum two (2) years experience with network, application, specialized server and user account management in a Novell 4.x/5x environment.
-Minimum two (2) years with self-managed telecommunications gear, telecom switching, connectivity, and administration.
-Minimum two (2) years with PC hardware, software, printers, PC component repair and replacement.
-Minimum two (2) years working experience with maintaining and troubleshooting connectivity devices in a client-server
environment.
-Minimum two (2) years experience with NT Workstation networking fundamentals, setup, and troubleshooting.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
-Knowledge and proficiency with use of network cabling diagnostic equipment is required.
-Ability to relate and convert highly detailed information into short, concise, and understandable terms the customer can understand.
-Will be responsible for the deliverance of the highest level of customer service to guests, VIP's, and co-workers.
-Must attend mandatory guest service training.
-Must be available to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays.
-Must successfully complete and pass a National Indian Gaming Commission background investigation.
-Must be able to obtain a Class III certification, and be licensed, with the Washington State Gambling Commission and the Tribal Gaming Agency.
-Must have a successful employment history with Tribes and/or other employers.
