Senior Network Administrator
Who We Are: With more than two decades of experience delivering business solutions to our clients, Business & Decision combines the in-depth knowledge of the delivery of Oracle's e-Business Suite of applications, computer systems validation, and the ability to host regulated applications in our Tier 3 world class Data Center.
We are currently in need of a Senior Network Administrator. This role includes a need for strong experience in both basic and advanced networking skills listed below as well as being responsible for advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking configuration and support. A heavy focus in Cisco networking hardware is a must. Cisco certification is a strong plus. Candidate must be able to design and implement secure network segments utilizing the skills listed below. A minimum of 5 years Cisco networking experience is required. The candidate must also have a strong working knowledge of Linux Systems Administration as there will also be a requirement to support customer mission critical Linux based systems. The candidate will also be responsible to share on-call rotations.
Basic Networking:
• Implementing and support network systems across the enterprise
• Troubleshoot network performance issues, as well as help to analyze network traffic and capacity planning
• Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, and router networking issues
• VPN Security Group administration
• Daily user administration through Active Directory/Exchange
• Working knowledge of the TCP/IP stack and OSI model
• Strong background with Windows 2003/XP and experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems
• Server and PC network configuration
• Experienced in Windows Server 2003 server builds and administration
• Familiarity with troubleshooting Cisco router and Checkpoint firewall equipment
Advanced Networking:
• VPN
• Firewall: FWSM (Firewall Services Modules), ACLs (Access Control Lists), Firewall Conduits, etc.
• Routing / Switching
• Switch configuration: VLANs, etc.
• SNMP
• DNS
• DHCP
• Network Security (Intrusion Detection System-IDS)
• Load Balancing (i.e. Content Management, etc.)
Specific Hardware Knowledge:
• 65xx switches running IOS 12.2 or higher (FWSM configuration via command line)
• 3560 switches running IOS 12.2 or higher
• ASA 55xx security appliances management via ASDM (IPSEC Tunnels, ACLs)
• Cisco 28xx and 3xxx routers (IP telephony, BGP, T3 circuits, ACLs)

• SAN Experience
• Datacenter environmentals knowledge (i.e. HVAC, UPS, physical security, etc.)
