SchoolTube.com is looking for an entry-to-mid level Flex/Flash Developer.
Job Description:
Great opportunity for a Flash Developer who is fluent in various technologies, has a passion for the web and thrives in a fast-paced, highly creative environment. Ideal candidate will be extremely self-driven, organized and ready to develop UI and integration modules in Javascript and Flash.
You'll spend a lot of time working with code, so some ActionScript, XHTML, C#, PHP, MSSQL, MySQL and JavaScript experience/skills are important. If you haven't worked with all of these languages/technologies, that's ok--but you'll need to show us that you have the underlying conceptual understanding needed to get up and running quickly. Having a solid grasp of application design patterns and frameworks, and general coding best-practices is a plus.
That said, we're really looking for someone who:
- Enjoys the design and development process
- Gets a kick out of experimenting and prototyping
- Has a genuine interest in what other sites/developers are doing, and what works/what doesn't
- Can have a conversation about the sites and software they love and hate, and why
- Is the type of person who wonders how things work, and how they can work better
- Knows what terms like "Web 2.0", "Social Bookmarking", AJAX, RIA's, etc mean, and can see why they're both important and BS
- Is conscious of the User Experience, and strives to make it the best it can be
- Enjoys sharing ideas with the team and collaborating
- Is driven to improve upon what was done the last time

What you'll be doing mostly is working with a small team to develop applications that center around interactive video.
