GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to provide configuration, support and maintenance to ensure continuous availability of secured network services to both internal and external global customers (upstream and downstream).
SPECIFIC SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 10+ years paid-experience administering network security in cross platform system environments.
3. Knowledge and experience configuring several different brands of Cisco firewall, routers, VPN and switches (prefer 6500's w/FWSM, ASA 550x, 7600, 7200, 3600, 3500, 3030, 2900 series)
4. Knowledge of and a minimum 5 years experience in planning, deployment, and maintenance of firewall, proxy, gateway and IDS technologies.
5. Knowledge and experience in deployment and maintenance of large scale wireless networks and wireless network security.
6. Ability to think in a logical and systematic way to solve problems, incorporate suggestions and create solutions.
NOTE: Main focus is Network Security.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
1. Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, CCDP or CCIE certification.
2. Microsoft MCSE certification.
3. Checkpoint CCSE certification.
4. Process Control Network
