Currently, HCMI has partnered with a Payroll Processing company in the Exton area who is in the midst of creating a new platform to support all of their business services. They are currently in need of a Software Engineer to join their selective team. This individual needs to be a Self-Starter, mentally flexible, have an open mind, and a passion for development. This position will report directly to the Director of Development and will participate in strategy meetings, requirements gathering, and work closely with the existing team to produce a cutting edge platform for their business.
Requirements:
**3-5 years of Full SDLC development -- understanding the various methodologies associated with the software development lifecycle, the phases of development, and the best practices associated with producing a successful application
**Extensive knowledge of a SQL Server 2005 Database -- both writing T-SQL code and some performance tunning and load balancing concepts.
**Experience with the Visual Studio 2005 Suite of tools
**Experience with Java Enterprise Edition suite of tools, especially as they pertain to front-end development.
**Excellent Written and Oral Communication -- prior experience with Client-Facing and collaborative Requirements Gathering
**Good understanding of Business-Class Applications and Architecture.
**Passion for cutting-edge technology and best practices in development.
