Document Management expert, with skills in design, implementation and customization of IT systems for content management and collaboration. This is an opportunity for a proven expert in the Enterprise Content Management field to play a key role in implementation of projects. Document management products experience should include; EMC Documentum, EMC eRoom, Xerox Docushare. Also candidates should have applications development experience with EMC Webtop using Java in an eclipse environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate expert knowledge in the disciplines of document management (including workflow) and records management and will be experienced in using information technology for collaboration and knowledge retention. Comprehensive knowledge of EMC eRoom and EMC Documentum are required. Experience with Domino.Doc, Docushare and Sharepoint will be important as well. Demonstrated Java application development competence with focus on document management platform customization and APIs will be required. This work will involve effective teamwork with members of the Generation business unit IT group and will require accountability for the success of ECM projects . It will involve project planning, systems analysis, design and configuration, system customization, data migration, applications development and systems integration.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
1. Assist with the development of a comprehensive document management and collaboration strategy for the Client's Resources Generation Business Unit.
2. Support the technical design and implementation of an EMC eRoom.
3. Support the technical design and implementation of an EMC Documentum repository.
4. Develop and complete migration of documents between disparate systems.
5. Design and implement technical integration of document management systems with other systems, e.g. work management and training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Extensive experience/certifications with EMC Documentum and other document management and collaboration products.
2. The ability to translate business needs into systems solutions.
3. Experience with IT architecture, including databases, application servers, web-based systems and TCP/IP networks.
4. The ability to play a key technical role on project teams and take responsibility for the teams ' success.
Long term contract assignment - 8 months or more.
