Reports To: Director of Development
Based in midtown Atlanta, we are an innovative application service provider offering event registration, business travel, and meeting planning solutions to a dynamic and growing market. We are partnered with several industry leaders and service Fortune 500 companies. We are seeking a self-motivated experienced professional to fill a new Senior Developer/Lead position. This is a salaried position with an excellent benefits package including major medical, dental, 401k, etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience as a senior lead with demonstrable experience in .NET including ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, XML, web services, etc.
Solid understanding of .NET web based software architecture including configuration, security, optimization, etc.
Good understanding of OO principles, multi-tier web applications and relational databases.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to act with minimal direction to ensure project goals are met and delivered on time.
Good understanding of project lifecycles and agile software development methodology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Can work equally well individually as well as on a team.
Essential Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain current and new.NET applications and web services
Serve as technical lead on development projects; participation in full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis and design.
Responsibility for developing solutions for all tiers of the application; code-behinds, controls, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc.
Investigate and analyze reported defects in a timely manner, and recommend solutions to these problems including code changes, data updates, or configuration modifications.
Ability to design and develop software in a group or independently.
Lead technical design and development reviews.
Conduct and assist in integration testing.
Assist in formulating standards and development practices.
Ability to mentor junior developers.
Certifications:
No certification is required, but will be considered a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
