Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Responsible for Creating and Enforcing Database Development Standards and Processes; Ensures database standards consistency across projects, help define data archive and purge standards. Create and enforce database architectural standards as it relates to security, availability, replication, and storage and configuration management. Help the various applications teams in the logical and physical data model design and create an enterprise data dictionary and set ETL standards.
Responsible for the day-to-day IT support of the database environments, specifically with regards to system availability, performance, data integrity & functionality. Leads and executes on data warehouse projects and initiatives supporting the business. Participates in the design and implementation of data marts to support business functional areas.
Essential Responsibilities
Work cross-functionally with business leaders to establish data requirements and priorities.
Lead a global development group to execute on project and maintenance activities.
Drive standardization of processes that ensure timely generation and retrieval of business-critical data.
Lead in the evaluation & implementation of third party Business Intelligence software solutions
Work with key stakeholders to gather & document business requirements and manage the implementation of new reports plus data mart enhancements.
Help in designing of solutions using Oracle and SQL server databases.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent work experience) with 6+ years experience in project management and/or data warehousing.
3+ years experience performing technical project management, system implementation, and integration.
Prior hands on experience in Oracle and SQL server databases
