Job Summary:
· Design, develop, test and deploy one or more layers of N-tier database driven web applications and web services.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Contribute to a scalable product design by brainstorming and recommending various design approaches
· Engage in quality engineering processes, including design and code reviews and unit tests
· Execute on assigned engineering tasks in a timely and high quality fashion
· Complete ownership of at least one key feature and/or component
· Thorough impact analysis and provide multiple solutions with pros and cons
· Be a go-getter
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Strong proficiency in ASP.NET 2.0, C# 2.0, ADO.NET
· Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL, database design and optimization
· Excellent problem solving skills
· Ability to work with fluid and ambiguous requirements
· Ability to quickly learn the required technologies and tools
· Passion to solve challenging and complex technical problems
· Excellent collaboration skills with Project Management, Test and Operation teams
· 4+ years of college or equivalent experience
· 4+ years of solid industry experience
· Ability to use keyboard effectively for up to 8 hours per day
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Recent working experience in a startup environment
· Knowledge of C++, ATL, MFC and COM
