Data Warehouse Consultants (www.dwconsultants.com) is seeking an Interface Engineer for a client.
The primary role of the certified Interface Engineer is designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting all electronic interfaces that enable or enhance the integration and interoperability of the business units and related processes. This includes responsibility for conducting complex analysis of the organization's business processes to develop sophisticated integration solutions in a timely manner using industry standards, methodologies and languages. The Interface Engineer must also act as Project manager by meeting with business partners, department heads, physicians, vendors and consultants to evaluate and determine the best possible integration solutions in accordance with system's specifications. Likewise, this individual will be responsible for coordinating all project efforts needed to successfully implement the interfaces. the Interface Engineer will also act as a leader by staying abreast of latest trends and development in the field, demonstrating professionalism at all times and mentoring uncertified or less experienced interface analysts in the learning and adoption of new integration skills.
Skills/Experience:
• Completion of Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Cloverleaf Interface certification level 1
• 5 yrs of progressive experience in interface development; project management and project implementation
• Experience in healthcare interface management and development a plus
• UNIX AIX experience a plus
• XML, HTML experience a plus
