Our client is looking for a senior visual designer to join their highly talented and successful team. They are looking for someone with a passion for great design and an eye for detail; someone with a sense of style that is simple, elegant and usable. The senior visual designer must be skilled in graphic design, typography, layout and colour as well as have an understanding of web technologies, CSS and HTML.
As a successful candidate you likely need to live and breath the creative arts - you will have been a 'creative type' for a long time in any medium, but in the recent past you have definitely honed your skills in the online arts. You will be a master of your tools whether it be Photoshop, Fireworks or Illustrator and through your years of experience you will appreciate and understand value of version control.
Requirements:
* BA/BS in Graphic Design, Information Design, or other visual arts (or equivalent experience)
* Minimum of 3+ years experience designing current, stylish and visually appealing interfaces (ideally for a gaming, social media or new media company)
* Flexible attitude and desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
* Fluent in HTML and CSS, and full knowledge of their capabilities and limitations.
* Excellent Photoshop and/or Fireworks skills
