Job Description: Plusmo is looking for an experienced software engineer to join our mobile team. You will have the opportunity to work on several leading client platforms including J2ME, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, iPhone, Symbian, BREW, Android, LiMo and more. Innovate clever solutions to enhance and simplify mobile experiences for end users, while supporting varied device capabilities, screen sizes, bandwidths, input modalities and device user interfaces.
Requirements
• We're looking for an exceptionally strong engineer with good fundamentals of software engineering who can pick up languages or mobile device development frameworks pretty quickly.
• BS/MS in CS or related disciplines
• Passionate mobile phone user and familiar with most current mobile data services, technologies, limitations and challenges
• Must have a strong desire to develop mobile friendly software
• Development experience platforms such as Windows, Symbian, Blackberry, J2ME is desired but not required.
• Good working knowledge of Web standards including XHTML, Javascript, CSS, SVG.
• Experience with developing browsers, plug-in frameworks and toolkits is a definite plus.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle.
