Position Title: Senoir MS SQL DBA
Duration:3+ Months
Location: Hillsboro,OR
10 to 15 yrs experience - extremely senior & brilliant
Project Description: Critical work to prototype new SOA platform architecture including integration with legacy n-tier application and backend database design, create tools to support shipping product, perform extensive modeling, refactoring and web service integration
Daily Responsibilities: The DBA / T-SQL expert will work with Architecture team to prototype our new SOA Platform Architecture as well as perform significant refactoring of the legacy n-tier system, develop production tools, develop unit tests, and perform web service integration. The database work entails highly complex T-SQL joins/correlated subqueries, advanced data modeling, refactoring, object-relational design, and more.
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
Advanced T-SQL, complex nested joins, correlated subqueries, data model recursion, MS SQL DBA, data modeling, Object-Relational Design with Hibernate or equivalent, complete ETL and data import/export with multiple DBMS (MSFT, Oracle)
Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
C#, .Net, web services integration, SOA (service oriented architecture), UML, test plans / suites / cases and automated testing e.g. with NUnit or equivalent, Winform experience nice-to-have
