Scope of Work:
This is an opportunity to join our System Test and 2nd Line Support team where you can help create efficient test solutions and use those tools to test complex integrated applications. The SOA architecture uses a Web front end, Web Services, and globally distributed databases to provide end user solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Create the Test Plan from the Assignment/Requirements.
• Work with the System Administrator to establish the test environment.
• Create and execute test cases.
• Open, track, and resolve defects with the development team.
• Augment and use test tools.
• Crate the System Test Report.
• Install and configure 3rd Party Applications.
• Install and configure the Application to test.

Required Skills:
• 5+ years as a lead application system test engineer.
• 3+ years testing N-Tier, Web Applications, with SOA Architecture.
• Demonstrated experience with scripting languages (Python and VB preferred).
• Works well in a team environment while performing tasks independently.

Additional skills:
• Hands-on test experience with Web Services (XML, SOAP, HTTP).
• 2+ years hands-on with Rational Performance Tester or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years hands-on DBA.

BS in computer related field or equivalent experience.SDLC; Create Test Plan, Test Cases, Defect Tracking, and Test Report; Testing (N-Tier, Web Applications, SOA Architecture); Scripting (Python, SQL); Web Services (XML, SOAP, HTTP); Server & Hardware Configuration; System Administration (Windows Server, install configure, maintain); DBA (SQL Server 2003/2005); Test Automation (Rational Functional Tester, Test Manager, Performance Tester or equivalent); Environment (primary Windows, some Unix).
